Noureen is born in New York City on 28 February 1984. The actress has always had an interest in acting. She began laying the groundwork for her professional career while she was a student at Boston University's School of the Arts. Noureen was a part-time auditioner for various roles soon after graduation. The year 2005 saw her got her first role in a crucial role for a film called West Bank Story. West Bank Story had its premier at the Sundance Film Festival of 2005 in addition to being shown at many other festivals. She then starred on the screen in Ghost World (2001), a film that was well-received and received her the Golden Globe nod.
